We use a CoffeeCrafters Artisan 3-e fluid-bed roaster. A fluid-bed roaster forces hot air into a coffee hopper where the flow of
hot air both heats the coffee beans and "swirls" them
around creating a bed of hot air.
Roasting beans on a fluid-bed roaster ensures that the green beans are only in contact with hot air during the roast which in turn produces a very clean tasting roast.
We take great care in our roasting process. Each batch is closely monitored and then hand sorted to ensure you get the best bag of beans possible.
Our customers are both local and from across Canada (and by special request, the USA - please contact us if you'd like our coffee shipped to you in the USA). We deliver locally to our customers or they drop by to pick up their order... we also ship our coffee to your door.
Anvil Coffee Collective is a locally owned and operated coffee shop in Salmon Arm. These folks know their coffee... they'll serve you a great cup from their bar (anything and everything espresso, pour-overs, drip, and more). We're privileged that Anvil features our coffee from time to time. Drop by and see if they've got Reverend Coffee in stock!
Steve's loved coffee since he was about 13 years old, growing up in Germany (he's an ordained minister - a "reverend"), and Sarah started her coffee journey about 10 years ago when she discovered she actually really likes coffee (after avoiding it for most of her life). Together they started roasting coffee for themselves in order to satisfy their desire for freshly roasted beans. Soon, friends and family were asking for some to their fresh beans and, well, the rest is history. This is Sarah's "side-gig" and the Reverend gets to tag along and help where needed in this micro-business. They both love conversations around coffee and brewing it so don't hesitate to reach out them for a chat.
